Asura General Discussion Thread

  1. conewicci I dun goofed.

    9/100 bro. :v

GSD has maxed everything I bet, he's special. He's fucking level 80 or 70, he has SP out his ass.

It's not gonna be all that often that you're hit from behind anyways. So it's not like it's always going to be useful.
  2. BlanixTheBlood Perfect hair

This has been discussed before. Back attacks happen all the time in pvp, berserker's frenzy hits behind on the 2nd part of the attack, same with SST, nen shots elec hits behind. It happens more than you think.
  3. Hervey Perfect Insanity

Nen Shots - You'll be away from them, so what good would that do?

SST - If their spamming SST when you're not OTG or airborne their probably pretty bad (remember SST has a cooldown)

Frenzy - I'd say most of the time you'll be airborne. Although not all the time. And also, when the 2nd hit, hits... Wouldn't you turn around and smack the air? What good would that do.
  4. conewicci I dun goofed.

About the 9/100 thing I was just making a joke. =_=

SST doesn't hit you on the ground though. It actually lifts you up.

    Plus what he said ^.
  5. BlanixTheBlood Perfect hair

They were examples. I can't say they are good, but hell it happens enough.
My point is that Flipside makes a bigger difference than max guard.
  6. Hervey Perfect Insanity

Well it's up to him really. If he wants to base a win or loss off luck (low % chance remember) then so be it. While Max Guard would be a little bit more helpful anytime you use it, no luck involved.
  7. BlanixTheBlood Perfect hair

I get where your coming from. Max guard makes a different when used, albeit irrelivantly small, there is a difference.
But you should also know that luck plays a role in this game that is just as accountable.
  8. Hervey Perfect Insanity

Luck is a party of any game. That's a given.
  9. NuMbA Light's Out

Need some help on this build, this is pretty much what I've decided on so far, but still need help/info with 3 things

    1)
I'm considering getting Ancient Memory, but I don't really like the idea of only being able to use t half the time, as well as it not giving as much int as most int buffs do for 250 SP. Maybe i'll get it if I can stack a couple more lvl's on it.

    2)
For Deadly Enticer you have to be hit three time to activate mind snap right? Does it work if you use guard? also why does the wiki and the game show me different numbers on the skills damage?

    3)
Is Murderous Wave a good skill to invest it?

    Edit:
    4)
Why do peoples say ghost orb isn't good later on? It's % and that just doesn't make sense to me...

1.Ancient Memory certainly isn't a bad investment, but if you don't like it half the time then you'll prob want to spend the points elsewhere.
2.Deadly enciter does require 3 hits of mind snap to work, and I believe it does work with guard. Its not a bad skill, but Its just heavily raged on by people who feel its worthless. I say try it out and it might click for ya.
3.I would not invest in murderous wave unless you have a great mp supply. Its good for awakening preq though. Ive seen people max it and use it greatly to effect. 2k damage per second I believe.
    4. Ghost orb is perfectly fine later on, in fact I find myself trying to get 5 runes just to use it on a boss or a particular harder enemy. For groups though obviously it kinda sucks. My favorite move though personally.
  11. Hiroshi dat smirk

Afaik you only get a Mind Snap stack with Guard if you get a Stuck, which shouldn't be too hard though because Guard triggers your awakening passive.
